Introducing Uf Cares

Caring about a company's charitable contributions isn't just about being socially conscious—it's about actively shaping a better world for all. Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) demonstrates our commitment to ethical practices, sustainability, and community welfare.

Coming together to support others strengthens our bonds as teammates and partners and contributes to creating a more compassionate world, leaving a legacy that extends beyond our professional accomplishments.

Together, we have the power to make a meaningful difference and create a brighter future for those who need it most.

We have a four-pronged, holistic CSR approach that is in line with our brand values:
  • Sustainability

We commit to making a difference in our local and global ecosystems beyond the sustainable innovations in our products

    • Treedom - We proudly support Treedom, the first platform that allows you to plant a tree from a distance and follow its story online. All trees are planted by local farmers and bring environmental, social, and financial benefits to their communities.

Since 2019, Ultrafabrics has expanded our forest as part of our ongoing commitment to conservation of resources and local biodiversity.

    • Riverkeeper -  Every year, Riverkeeper organizes the largest river shoreline clean up in New York, with service projects along the Hudson River and its tributaries at more than 140 locations from New York City to the Adirondacks.

Our Ultrafabrics team volunteered to protect the Hudson River estuary by removing trash and debris from our shorelines and restore habitat by removing invasive species and planting native plants & trees.

  • Scholarship
We commit to supporting the next generation of future-focused designers succeed.

    • Our USA and UK-based scholarships reflect our commitment to sustainability by supporting design or engineering students that are dedicated to innovative, sustainable solutions for the future.

We sponsored a £1000 award at the prestigious New Designers show in June, an annual showcase of UK’s most innovative, emerging design talent. Learn more here.

Our $10,000 USA and £3,000 UK scholarship winners are currently being selected. More information to follow.

  • Local Community
We commit to connecting with our local community while engaging our employees.

    • Feeding Westchester – In February 2024, members of our team donated time to pack about 750 bags of fresh produce for the Feeding United Home Deliveries program, aiming to offset student hunger with healthy food. We also packed an additional 279 bags for the Food is Medicine program, an initiative to introduce healing through healthy food.

In June 2024, our team went back and packed an additional 912 bags of dry goods for the Food Is Medicine program.

Upcoming initiatives include a cleanup with Westchester Parks Foundation and Surfers Against Sewage in UK.

  • Material Donation
We commit to redirecting unusable goods away from landfill.

Inspired by the Japanese concept of finding the intrinsic value in unwanted materials, we proudly donate our products to extend their life cycle and support the creative vision of local artisans. Since 2018 we have donated over 30,000 yards to a variety of charitable organizations.
